The following are principles and responsibilities related to the health and safety rules and regulations in which Highmark Oilfield Services Ltd. holds as a standard for all employees / subcontractors active within the company.Management has implemented health and safety policies, procedures and programs to meet or exceed industry standards and legislated requirements. The leadership team at all levels supports and applies these requirements and takes on vigorous roles in program improvements. Performances measures and targets are established for our key program areas and performance relative to target are reported to the Joint Occupational Health and Safety committee on a routine bases.  We monitor compliance through audits and participate in field tours, inspections and group safety meetings. Highmark management sets directions and continues to raise the bar for safety standards. Management will ensure that employees and subcontractors are adequately trained and competent to perform their job in a safe and efficient method. Supervisors, at all levels are responsible to continuously promote, reinforce and monitor workers compliance to health and safety program requirements as well as legislative requirements. Compliance with safety policies, procedures and applicable regulations is the responsibility of all employees, subcontractors, senior management, and is a condition of employment. We continue to develop and maintain effective corporate and site specific emergency response capabilities, ensuring personnel are adequately trained to affectively respond to emergencies. All hazards, near misses and incidents shall be immediately reported and appropriately investigated within a timely manner.
